Butcher, John Beverly. A Complete Gospel Lectionary. Polebridge Press:2002 - $2.00 - A Rare pre-publication copy. I worked with John in the preparation of this book for publication. It is a 4th year of lectionary based on non-canonical gospels and other texts. When Bob Funk saw the title, he exploded: “This isn’t the complete gospels! We can’t do this!” So I said “Well, most churches are using “the common lectionary.” Let’s call it The Uncommon Lectionary.” And so it was and is.
